The Livingston Piecemakers Quilt Guild is located in the East Texas town of Livingston. The town is the county seat of Polk County. We are near Lake Livingston and The Big Thicket. The Guild is a 501C3 organization. We meet the 2nd Monday of each month at First Baptist Church of Livingston (see the meeting page for directions) at 9:30am. The Guild is sponsored by Jean's Corner located at 712 North Jackson Street in downtown Livingston. The purpose of our Guild is to renew, recreate and restore the art of quilting along with the camaraderie and fellowship. Membership is open to everyone. The Guild also sponsors a biennial Quilt show and takes part in local festivals and events. Our community service projects are many and include such things as making quilts for the SAAFE House of Livingston; quilts and bibs for nursing homes in the area; neck cooling scarves for our servicemen and pillows for the animal shelter. We also make comfort quilts for the police , fire departments and the Red Cross. Information about our Charity Programs. Pictures of the Guilds display at Livingston's Hometown Christmas pageant December 10, 2011.
