CHARITY AND COMMUNITY SERVICE

Livingston Piecemakers Quilt Guild is established as a non-profit “charitable”  organization for the community of Livingston and the surrounding area of Polk County.  We help our local community with quilts, monetary donations and educational projects.  We currently offer support to:

-       Habitat For Humanity

-       FAITH (members of the community serving in Armed Forces)

-       VIP school programs

-       SPCA

-       Memorial Medical Center - Livingston

-       Local nursing homes

-       SAAFE House

-       Local hospice organizations

The Livingston Piecemakers Quilt Guild members are very generous in sharing their talents and resources, volunteering approximately 7000 hours a year for the betterment of the area.   If you are interested in helping us make a difference in Livingston, please attend one of our meetings on the second Monday of each month at the First Baptist Church of Livingston.

On Sunday January 8, 2012 Habitat for Humanity dedicated a new home built for Michael Bailey and his sons of Corrigan Texas.

Below are some pictures of the dedication.
